The beginning

Derek and I matched on November 2, 2023. We were a little busy — medical school and all. Fast forward to December 1, when Derek said, “Make time for me already!” So I did :) Derek patiently waited until December 15, 2023, when we met for the first time in person, instantly feeling like we had met each other over and over again in all our lifetimes.

The adventure

Some of our favorite chapters have been written on the move: new places, long meals, small detours, and all the unexpected moments that became ours. The best part has always been the company.

The yes

And then came the easiest answer. We are so grateful for the journey that brought us here — and even more excited for the life we are building together.
